Coronavirus Close to Home
Dear Neighbors and Friends,
The Board Members of the Willow Creek Homeowners Association wish to emphasize that no one who lives here is alone. During this Coronavirus emergency, we want to make sure that if you have problems getting much-needed supplies or communicating with a medical professional or other service personnel, we want to help as best we can.
We cannot provide help by coming into your home or by having you come to ours—rather we need you to communicate with us by phone or by text. We’ll do whatever we can to help you find grocery or supply items or help you find that person who can help you with medical, travel or other issues.
We are all practicing social distancing and self-quarantine by staying at home, out of stores and out of all medical and business establishments except in emergencies.
But there are ways we can deliver some supplies to you or help you find a resource to assist you.-
In Phase 1, we ask you to contact Phase Rep Jean Lauerman at 320-248-1036 or Joan Allen at 612-412-3184. In Phase 2, please contact Phase Rep Virginia VanderWyest at 320-267-0160 or Mary Schill at 320-309-2353. In Phase 3 please call Phase Rep Diane Schmitz at 320-253-8535 or Mary Schwinghammer at 320-251-1403.
This epidemic may last a long time; we cannot tell. Personal experience has taught us all that some items are in short supply. Personally, I have grocery items delivered to my house. If you need something, I might be able to help you get it. I’m sure that’s true of other board members who may have resources they can tap.
Also, call or text your neighbors to check on them and make sure they’re all right. It helps to stay in touch, especially if you live alone. It helps to alleviate that sense of isolation. It’ll also be better when we can get outdoors and breathe in some fresh air, I hope!
In the meantime, stay safe.
Sincerely,
Joan A Allen, President, WCHA
